Khalifa, Murugan, and Cartwright are named Minnesota Monthly Top Docs

LMP professors Mahmoud Khalifa and Paari Murugan and assistant professor David Cartwright are among 285 M Physician doctors on Minnesota Monthly’s 2026 list of Top Doctors, representing 70 adult and pediatric specialties. 

In an article about the listing, M Physicians noted that M Physicians doctors account for more than one in four of those included on the list, the most of any group represented.

"Each year, Minnesota Monthly identifies these leading physicians through a peer nomination process. The magazine asks more than 10,000 doctors in the 11-county Twin Cities metro area and Olmsted County – based on a list it receives from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice – to nominate up to three of their peers in each specialty. The physicians who receive the highest number of nominations are recognized annually as the magazine’s Top."
