Rothlin receives 2026 AAI Lancefield Mid-Career Achievement Award

LMP professor Carla Rothlin, Director of the Center for Immunology, has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Lancefield Mid-Career Achievement Award.

Named for Rebecca C. Lancefield, the first woman to serve as AAI President, this award recognizes mid-career women immunologists for outstanding research and leadership in the field.

The Lancefield Award annually honors one outstanding mid-career investigator, providing a cash award, complimentary registration and travel support for the AAI annual meeting, and the opportunity to serve as a table leader during the Careers in Science Roundtables. Awardees also present their research in an award lecture following the official presentation.
