Samreen Fathima, MD, joins LMP in hematopathology

Samreen Fathima, MD joined LMP as an assistant professor and hematopathologist effective September 24.

Fathima received an MBBS from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India, and completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She recently completed a hematopathology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago

Fathima was chair of the Digital Content Committee, Texas /society of Pathology from 2021-2023. She is currently Resident Council Member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

She was College of American Pathologists (CAP) 2022 Resident of the Year and an American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) 40 Under 40 honoree in 2023.
