- Develop a research infrastructure to support high quality clinical research and foster collaboration between academic and treatment communities.
- Develop a research agenda to assist in strategic planning, consensus, and prioritization of high priority, relevant, and generalizable research projects.
- Create a method to develop well-conceived and carefully designed observational studies and interventional clinical trials.
- Develop a plan to disseminate research findings and scientific based evidence to practitioners, health systems leaders, policy makers, communities, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative evidence based research to drive best practice, translating clinical research into practice.
- Mentor new investigators, fellows, residents, and medical students in developing and conducting research projects.
