Grand Rounds Information for Divisions & Speakers
Divisions
The assignments of the dates for the Divisions for the 2022-2023 year can be found here. Please note the gold color dates can not be changed or swapped. Assignments are also sent to each responsible faculty member six weeks prior to your scheduled Grand Rounds Lecture. Questions about this schedule can be directed to our Pediatric Conference Coordinator at pedsconf@umn.edu and Dr. Emily Borman-Shoap at borm0029@umn.edu .
If you are the responsible division faculty and need to swap dates with another division or speaker, please contact the appropriate division directly and reference the list of 2022-2023 dates and divisions. Once the swap has been confirmed, you must email the correspondence to our Pediatric Conference Coordinator at pedsconf@umn.edu.
Each week an anonymous evaluation is sent to our mailing list to evaluate that week's session. If you are the responsible division faculty or a speaker and would like a summary of your evaluations, please email Pediatric Conference Coordinator at pedsconf@umn.edu.
If you would like to suggest a topic for a Pediatric Grand Rounds session, please email Dr. Emily Borman-Shoap, Grand Rounds Chairman, at borm0029@umn.edu and our coordinator at pedsconf@umn.edu. Suggestions from pharmaceutical companies and/or medical device manufacturers will not be considered.
Speakers
Speakers will receive an individual zoom link the week of their talk. On the day of the presentation, we ask that speakers join our webinar by 7:15 am for set-up. Please plan on presenting a 45-minute presentation from 7:30 - 8:15 am, then a 15-minute Q&A session from 8:15 - 8:30 am. An additional 30 minute networking session from 8:30 - 9:00 am can be held at the discretion of the hosting division and speaker.
You must provide a disclosure slide in your presentation. An example disclosure slide can be found here.
Please review the “Standards for Commercial Support” and the Health Information & Privacy Compliance information.
We recommend (but do not require) your PowerPoint slides be in 16:9 ratio format. Slides in 4:3 format will still work on the display.
We sincerely appreciate your willingness to speak for our Grand Rounds Program. If you have any additional questions, please contact our coordinator at pedsconf@umn.edu. Thank you!
