I am from northern New York.

Undergraduate: Syracuse University

Medical school: University of New England (Maine)

What do you do when you're not practicing medicine?

Spend time with my family, cooking, biking, making music, enjoying good food and brews.

Why did you choose the U of M for your residency?

The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro is a great place to live, and I really enjoy the vibe and outdoor spaces. The program attracted me because it offers excellent real-world preparation as well as world-class academic training.

Where do you see yourself in the near future?

I plan to stay in the northern Midwest in a combined Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology private practice.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Woodbury, a suburb of St. Paul.

Where did you do undergrad and med school?

Undergraduate: Emory University

Medical school: University of Minnesota

What do you do when you're not practicing medicine?

Bike, spend time outside, travel and try new restaurants.

Why did you choose the U of M for your residency?

I knew the program as a medical student, and I really liked everyone in the department. It's a very kind place where people genuinely want you to succeed. The case exposure in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology is excellent and there is no area of radiology that we are not well trained in by the time we finish residency. We have exposure to the entirety of Interventional Radiology, including Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), which is not common among Interventional Radiology training programs across the country.

Where do you see yourself in the near future?

My wife and I are moving to Boston after residency.
