Ellen Sutter Recipient of FPTR Scholarship
The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research has over 40 years of funding research and developing researchers to optimize movement and health. The Foundation has provided more than $1,000,000 in funding each year to promising research and researchers based on a rigorous peer-review process.
Current Rehabilitation Science PhD student Ellen Sutter, PT, DPT is a 2020 recipient of the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) PODS I Scholarship. The award is for Ms. Sutter's work exploring brain development in infants who have experienced a stroke. Ms. Sutter is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduate program. She is advised by Dr. Bernadette Gillick.
