Department of Urology Faculty Members Recognized as Healthcare Research All-Stars
Four physicians at the University of Minnesota Department of Urology are among the top urology researchers in the country, according to a new list resulting from a comprehensive study.
Dr. Sean Elliott, MD, MS, ranks among the top 3% of the nation’s research-focused urologists, and Drs. Hamed Ahmadi, Martin Koyle, and Subodh Regmi among the top 5%, according to Avant-Garde Health, a healthcare analytics company born out of research at the Harvard Business School. Avant-Garde Health publishes the Healthcare Research All-Star lists to honor the outstanding surgeons whose contributions to healthcare research significantly enhance the quality of patient care. The research of more than 90,000 surgeons were examined and only the top five percent were included based on the quantity and quality of their published research.
