The Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics (BMBB) and the Department of Biology Teaching and Learning (BTL) at the University of Minnesota have hired two new assistant teaching professors, Andrew Grenfell and Alexandria Hoffman, with split appointments. This collaborative model aims to enhance teaching capabilities within both departments and foster connections across the College of Biological Sciences. Grenfell and Hoffman will contribute to both specialized biochemistry courses and broader courses, utilizing evidence-based teaching practices to benefit students.
