Team
The faculty engaged with the University of Minnesota Institute on Infectious Diseases (UMIID) have diverse research training, experiences and interests.
They are based within the Medical School and beyond, and they bring unique sets of expertise to identify, develop and enact solutions to address emerging infections with epidemic or pandemic potential.

Executive Committee
The UMIID Executive Committee serves as the interim leadership team for the institute, while the Medical School conducts a national search for a faculty director to assume leadership of the institute. When the inaugural director is hired, the Executive Committee will dissolve and participate in the institute through other channels.
Internal Advisory Board
The UMIID Internal Advisory Board advises the Executive Committee in their decision making processes. It is comprised of key infectious disease experts from across the University of Minnesota.
External Advisory Board
The UMIID External Advisory Board provides guidance and feedback to UMIID leadership as they pursue their mission and vision for this world class institute at the University of Minnesota.
Operations Director
