Advancing Diversity in Aging Research through Undergraduate Education (ADAR)
iBAM recently hosted the ADAR Course: Advancing Native Students in Aging Research. Annually in August, this course is held at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. The course includes lectures, lab sessions, panel sessions, group activities, and a tour of campus. It has a travel component which enables students to join labs/projects for a short period of time to see if they enjoy research. It also allows them to learn from experts in the aging field and identify mentors.
