Welcome Dr. Douglas Mashek, our new Associate Director!

Please welcome the new Associate Director of iBAM, Dr. Doug Mashek! 

Doug Mashek, PhD, is currently a professor with a primary appointment in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics (BMBB) and a secondary appointment in the Department of Medicine, Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. Research in the Mashek Lab focuses on the relationship between lipid metabolism and the development of metabolic and aging-related diseases.
