Office of Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations is housed within the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Office of the Dean. We work side-by-side with our campus partners at the University of Minnesota Foundation to support Medical School students and alumni. We are dedicated to building lasting relationships with our alumni and students by offering diverse and meaningful engagement opportunities to all.
We also support numerous events for alumni, students and friends of the Medical School, including: Annual Alumni Celebration & Reunions, Alumni Awards, the Maximizing Medical Practice series, and more.
Maureen Long, Director
Maureen has worked at the University since 1998 and joined the Medical School Alumni Relations team in 2017. She is responsible for the strategic planning and operations management of alumni relations at the Medical School. She spearheads planning for the MD Alumni Celebration, Alumni Awards banquet, and the Maximizing Medical Practice series. She also manages alumni data and communications to Medical School alumni.
