We enjoyed having so many alumni on campus with us on September 19-20! Thank you all for coming and for your grace, patience, and flexibility around the Farm Aid festival.

Form your 2026 class committee now!
The date for the 2026 Alumni Celebration & Reunions should be set by mid-December 2025. Alumni from classes with years ending in 1 or 6 are invited to form a reunion committee for your class. Committee members help spread the word to their classmates about Alumni Celebration events and plan activities specifically for their class. Reunions will be held only for those classes with a committee.

To join your class committee, complete the Reunion Committee Interest Form. Please contact Maureen Long at [email protected] with any questions.

ALUMNI CELEBRATION & REUNION EVENTS

Many of the Alumni Celebration & Reunion events will take place at McNamara Alumni Center (200 SE Oak St) on the Minneapolis campus, with the exception of the Class of 2010/Entering Class of 2006 reunion dinner and any additional activities planned by the class reunion committees.

Reunion dinners held at McNamara include a reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres, dinner with salad and chef-prepared meal, assorted desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available for purchase of beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

REUNION ATTIRE

You may be wondering, "What should I wear to my reunion?" Reunions are definitely not formal affairs, but you may want to dress perhaps a little nicer than business casual. Class photos will be taken, so you'll want to look your best, but you should also be comfortable.

In May, it was announced that Farm Aid's 40th Anniversary Festival would be held on Saturday, September 20, at Huntington Bank Stadium, across the street from McNamara Alumni Center. This type of activity is not unusual for a bustling metropolitan campus. We have been working diligently to ensure that alumni celebrating their reunion will have access to hotels and parking that day. We are confident that the festival will only add to the jovial nature of the Alumni Celebration & Reunions weekend. Watch your email for detailed instructions on parking as we get closer to reunion weekend.

The Farm Aid festival is a celebration of music and family farmers featuring a unique lineup of artists and genres, along with family farm-identified, local and organic foods as part of our HOMEGROWN Concessions®. Visit the Farm Aid website for information on the concert lineup, tickets, hotels, and the HOMEGROWN Village.

Map showing routes from Roseville to McNamara Alumni Center, with estimated driving times from 12-20 minutes.

Due to high demand for parking from the Farm Aid festival on the night of the reunion dinners, we've negotiated a special parking arrangement in two nearby ramps:

  • Washington Avenue Ramp - 175 spaces have been reserved for our event. The walk to our venue is less than 2 blocks or approximately 1/4 mile.
  • University Avenue Ramp - Only 15 spaces are available in this ramp. These spaces are intended for those who need a closer parking option.

If the spaces in the University Avenue Ramp sell out, please go ahead and reserve a space in the Washington Ave Ramp and indicate in the special accommodations section in the registration form if you need assistance getting to McNamara Alumni Center.

Parking is $10 for the evening (instead of the $30 Farm Aid rate). To obtain this rate, you must reserve parking during registration. Parking instructions will be sent via email in the week leading up to the event.

Note: parking for Alumni Celebration events on Friday, September 19 is not included in this rate.

Alternatives to Parking:

There are many ways to get to campus without driving yourself. Metro Transit's Green Line light rail train runs through the heart of the Minneapolis East Bank campus. The Trip Planner can help you find schedules for the train and the numerous bus routes that stop on campus. Taxis and ride-sharing services, such as Uber and Lyft, are also great options for getting to campus without having to drive yourself.
