 Who we are:Twin Cities Trade Service, a locally owned trade service provider, is looking for additional funeral director assistants. TCTS assists local funeral homes with removals and embalmings, averaging 350 calls a month. Many of these calls are deaths that have taken place in the home and require more than one person to make the removal. Funeral director assistants help the licensed funeral director in transferring of the deceased.

Who we serve: This is a part time job and has no guaranteed hours or call volume. When a funeral home calls upon us, we call our funeral director assistants to see who is available and willing to help. Funeral director assistants who make themselves available easily make $500-$2000 a month. You can take on as little or as much as you want. Why be tied down by a work schedule when you don’t have to be?

Requirements & Qualifications:  

Gill Brothers Funeral Home is looking for a Minnesota licensed mortician in the Minneapolis area with an interest in providing a high level of service, and a willingness to participate in all facets of funeral service.

 

 Responsibilities include embalming, cosmetics, and funeral arrangements. Director must have excellent communication skills. We are looking for a confident, self-driven, and creative problem solver. Gill Brothers strives to assist families and honor their loved ones through personalized funeral services. There is potential for growth and increased responsibility.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science
  • Current Funeral Director license within the practicing state
  • Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company owned vehicles
  • Industry experience is preferred
  • Cognitive Ability including reason, plan, identify problems, learn quickly, learn from experience, and appropriately apply learning to new situations.
  • Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives
  • Must have a positive attitude, a drive to continually advance your understanding of the industry and business, and is highly self-motivated
  • Ability to build professional and trusting business relations
