This position is ideal for a someone who has funeral experience and is looking for a change of pace. We are a direct burial business, providing both funeral and cemetery services for direct burial. The funeral director work would include setting up and arranging predominantly direct burials at the Islamic cemetery in Burnsville. This includes on-call schedule, initial transportation, setting up and transporting for graveside services, gathering and filing death certificates. We largely serve the Islamic community in Minnesota. The position for a funeral director that would be based out of our Burnsville office, with frequent trips to the funeral home we work with in St. Paul. Farris Funeral Service and Crematory is a growing, family-owned and operated funeral service and crematory located in beautiful Southwest Virginia. We have two locations serving Washington County, the surrounding counties, and Bristol Virginia/Tennessee.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Virginia licensed (or eligible to be licensed) funeral director and embalmer, one to three years of experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with every aspect of funeral service, motivated to create and maintain exceptional levels of client satisfaction.
