In partnership with Africa and Middle East Congress on Addiction (AMECA), the Duluth Global Health Research Institute (DGHRI) presents its monthly seminar series. The May webinar will focus on the topic of, “A global perspective on stimulant use and abuse: Updates on clinical and capacity challenges.” Presented by Professor, Dr. Mustafa al’Absi with Dr. Richard Rawson, professor at the University of Vermont & UCLA, Department of Psychiatry; past Co-Director of UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs. 

Dr. Rawson will discuss the latest findings and trends in stimulant use and abuse around the globe. He will also present models of treatment for stimulant use disorder and challenges that impact the implementation of prevention and clinical service protocols across countries.
