Faculty Members Host Community Programming Covering the COVID-19 Pandemic

On Wednesday, February 24, Duluth media outlets teamed up for an hour-long special called “COVID-19 Vaccine: Finding Answers," featuring local health experts and stories produced by CBS 3 Duluth, KBJR 6, WDIO, Fox 21 News, and WDSE WRPT along with the Duluth News Tribune.

After the "Finding Answers" segment, WDSE-TV aired a special episode of 'Doctors on Call' that was hosted by fellow faculty member, Dr. Mary Owen, director of the Center of American Indian and Minority Health, with Dr. Micheal Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota (CIDRAP) to discuss the current state of affairs regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and answer viewer questions sent in via email.
