Patricia Scott, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences, recently received a two-year $100,000 award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The project is entitled, "Genotoxicity of pks+ E. coli in the cystic fibrosis epithelium," and will be supported for two years. Dr. Scott is the Principal Investigator with Co-Investigators Silvia Balbo, PhD, Associate Professor Division of Environmental Health Sciences at the UMN School of Public Health, and Alexander Khoruts, MD, Professor of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the UMN Medical School.
