Dr. Simmons on the Cell Press List for 1,000 Inspiring Black Scientists in America

Glenn Simmons Jr., PhD, assistant professor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth Campus, was included in the Cell Press list of 1,000 inspiring Black scientists in America. Dr. Simmons is recognized under the "Rising Stars" category. The list was created to "dismantle the myth that outstanding Black scientists make up a small percentage of the scientific community."
