Lyme Disease is an emerging epidemic in the Upper Midwest. On the Duluth campus, Director, Dr. Benjamin Clarke and his team operate the 'Tick Bank' that seeks to collect donations for tick specimens that can be used for experiments to advance Lyme disease research and habitat mapping.

The 'Tick Bank' is part of the Ixodes outreach project: A northern MN community education and research program that engages the local community in discussing the facts about Lyme disease in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

KBJR-TV 6 Anchor Jessie Slater interviewed Dr. Clarke about the project.
