ADVANCED CARDIAC PHYSIOLOGY & ANATOMY
January 6-10, 2025
The Advanced Cardiac Physiology and Anatomy (PHSL 5510) Course is IEM’s most popular short course. The week-long course includes lectures, small group discussions, and hands-on anatomy work covering cardiac performance, heart disease, surgical procedures, cardiac devices, and other topics. University students can take the course for 2 credits or, by adding a research project, 3 credits.
ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY OF THE PELVIS & URINARY SYSTEM
January 15-17, 2025
Anatomy and Physiology of the Pelvis and Urinary System (PHSL 5525) is a short course focused on the anatomy and physiology of the pelvis, perineum, and urinary system. It has a strong anatomical bias with the pelvis and perineum, but will delve more deeply into the physiology of the urinary system.
NEUROTECH COURSE
January 16th & 17th, 2025
This is a FREE short-course and workshop on translating and commercializing neurotechnology, supported by the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research and the Bakken Medical Devices Center. This is a comprehensive educational program designed to teach the fundamentals of bringing neurotechnology from preclinical to clinical to commercialization, and into the marketplace.
