Clinical Immersion Program
Gain new educational perspectives with IEM’s Clinical Immersion Program (CIP).
CIP is an immersive educational experience allowing participants to gain a better understanding of how medical devices are used within various clinical environments and how clinical care teams function on a day-to-day basis.
Who should attend CIP?
This is a unique educational program tailored towards professionals within the medtech community. Past learners have included medical device engineers, specialists in front-end innovation, human factors specialists, design assurance & regulatory, senior executives, and marketing professionals.
Why should I participate in CIP?
This is an immersive learning experience that provides groups with opportunities to interact with clinicians and physicians, observe cases, shadow patient visits, view clinical workflows and engage in other learning environments within the University of Minnesota (e.g., simulation center).
