Congratulations to Matt Jarvis as the 2020 MICaB Chen Outstanding Graduate Student Award recipient.

MICaB is pleased to announce that Matt Jarvis has been chosen as this year's recipient of the MICaB Chen Award (Outstanding Graduate Student Award).  This award was established by Dr. Zongyu Chen and his family through the University of Minnesota Foundation in honor of the faculty in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, especially to his mentors, Drs. Peter Plagemann, Marc Jenkins and Ashley Haase.  As this year's recipient, Matt will receive a $1,000 cash award.  Please join me in congratulating Matt and thanking Dr. Chen and his wife, Qing Yao, for this generous gift to recognize the achievements of MICaB students.
