If you would like to be notified when the MINDS application opens and about the virtual open house on March 10, 2026 from 4-5pm cst, please fill out this Google form here. 

To apply to MINDS, fill out this online form, which will require you to upload the following documents:

• CV or Resume
• Unofficial College Transcripts
• One written statement (2 page maximum, single spaced, 11 pt Arial or Times New Roman font) that includes your personal background, research interests, long-term goals, how MINDS will help you achieve your goals, and your commitment to increasing neuroscience access for individuals that are historically underrepresented in science.
• Two letters of recommendation should be emailed separately by the recommender to [email protected]: and include the applicant's name in the email subject line.

All application materials including letters of recommendation are due by April 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM (PST)

Application Timeline:

March 2, 2026: Formal call for applications

March 10, 2026: Virtual open house (4:00 pm CST)

April 3, 2026: Applications deadline (11:59 pm PST)

April, 2026: Invitations to virtual interviews

May, 2026: Offers sent to participants 

July 31, 2026: Program start date 

August 2026: Lab rotations in potential research labs of interest begins
