Biomedical Sciences Seeks Applicants for an Assistant Professor in Anatomy

The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Anatomy to participate in teaching gross anatomy.

The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth Campus, is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Assistant Professor to participate in teaching gross anatomy to medical students and to participate in scholarly activity and publish in their chosen area of interest.  Candidates are expected to have at least one year experience teaching human anatomy at the college or university level and a record of scholarly activity commensurate with their career stage.

  • Required qualifications: 

    • PhD, MD/DO or equivalent terminal degree in biomedical sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • One year experience in teaching human anatomy at the college or university level.
    • Record of scholarly activity or training including peer reviewed publications commensurate with career stage.

    Primary focus for this position is teaching with the expectation that the selected candidate will also participate in scholarly activity.
