Dr. Berg is an Associate Professor with the Division of Health Policy & Management/
His research is focused on applying operations research methods and analytic approaches within health care delivery settings. He is interested in understanding the inherent uncertainty in complex health care systems and developing strategies to mitigate its effects. His research interests are in the decisions surrounding health care operations, planning, and scheduling and what their implications are in developing policies, evaluating quality measures, and measuring outcomes.
