Circadian neurogenetics and its implications in neurophysiology, behavior, and chronomedicine
Drs. Owen Chao and Amy Yang co-authored a newly published article in the journal Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews. Volume 157, 2024. Kudos to both!
The article presents recent developments in understanding the role of the molecular mechanisms of the circadian clock and its gene variant effects on the neurophysiological and behavioral processes, and their association to human cognitive diseases. Finally, the authors address how diet and treatment affect circadian rhythms in humans, and the practice of chronomedicine for a more effective treatment delivery. Read the full article here.
