Erica has transformed the resident scheduling process, skillfully managing the complex clinical schedules of 40 residents across multiple sites. Her approach combines automation with personalized meetings to ensure each resident's goals are met. Additionally, she revolutionized the interview season by creating an applicant website that provides essential information and fosters connections with residents and faculty.
Her leadership and expertise extend beyond the program. On a national level, she has presented at the Med-Peds Program Directors Association meeting and the Thalamus National Coordinators conference, sharing her best practices and innovative solutions.
Erica’s colleagues and residents consistently praise her thoughtfulness and support. She built and maintains the MedPeds Hub, a comprehensive Google site for residents, and streamlined the recruitment process during the pandemic, earning accolades from both faculty and applicants. Her dedication to the well-being of residents is evident in her proactive approach to supporting them during challenging times.
