Dana Davis Named Undergraduate Research Coordinator for the College of Biological Sciences

We are pleased to announce that Dana Davis recently stepped into the role of undergraduate research coordinator for the College. Dana is an associate professor of microbiology and immunology, and has a long history working with our students through his teaching, research and lab work, as well as through our Nature of Life program.

In this role, Dana will serve as the key undergraduate research contact for both faculty and students, help run and coordinate research workshops for undergraduates, coordinate the review of UROP proposals for CBS, promote undergraduate research opportunities and oversee the GopheResearch database project.

Research opportunities are core to the CBS experience. The energy, knowledge and commitment Dana brings to this critical position will no doubt help advance our efforts to ensure all of our students are able to access an authentic research experience
