Bio

Dr. Jeff Boissoneault is the director of the Minnesota Alcohol and Pain Lab (MAPL). His research focuses on the application of behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuroimaging approaches to the study of pain and related constructs; alcohol and substance use; and their interaction. He also has interest in mechanisms underlying placebo efficacy, pain-related decision making, and the acute and chronic neurobehavioral effects of alcohol use.
