Join the Center for Learning Health System Sciences (CLHSS)!

There are several membership categories available to participate with CLHSS ranging from active collaborations and research services to periodic updates. Learn more about the categories below.

Member

Members have an interest in learning health system activities and/or are a supporter of CLHSS programs and initiatives. Members receive periodic updates and are invited to center events, seminars, and other programming, as well as research consultation services.

Adjunct Member

Adjunct Members have active involvement in CLHSS through research or education activities on a limited interest or temporary basis. These members are added by default or can be requested.  Adjunct members will meet approximately three times per year and are also provided grant management, regulatory, and research consultation services. Adjunct membership is renewable every two years.

Responsibilities of membership:

  • Work with other members of CLHSS to develop and participate in research or education.
  • Promote awareness of CLHSS expertise and services and potential collaborations with other networks.
  • Acknowledge CLHSS in LHS-related and/or CLHSS resource-supported publications and presentations.
  • Participate in Adjunct Member meetings (approximately three/year), project meetings (as applicable), LHS seminars, conferences and other activities.

Full Member

Full Members are nominated by CLHSS leadership or appointed by CLHSS directors. They regularly collaborate to expand center research capacity, opportunities, and strategies. Full members are also provided grant management, regulatory, and research consult services. 

Responsibilities of membership:

  • Work with other members of CLHSS to develop and participate in research and education.
  • Promote awareness of CLHSS expertise and services and potential collaborations with other networks.
  • Acknowledge CLHSS in LHS-related and/or CLHSS resource-supported publications and presentations.
  • Participate in approximately bimonthly Full Member meetings, weekly unit meetings (as applicable), LHS seminars, conferences and other activities.
Core Member

Core members are appointed by CLHSS directors and serve as unit leads and/or have a portion of their FTE supported by CLHSS. 

Responsibilities of membership:

  • Collaborate on center strategic objectives and guide the priorities of the center.
  • Promote awareness of CLHSS expertise and services and potential collaborations with other networks.
  • Work with other members of CLHSS to develop and participate in research and education.
  • Acknowledge CLHSS in LHS-related and/or CLHSS resource-supported publications and presentations.
  • Participate in bi-weekly Leadership+Core meetings, weekly unit meetings (as applicable), periodic strategy sessions, LHS seminars, conferences and other activities.
  • Participate in fundraising activities.
