The Medical Education Outcomes Center (MEOC) and Center for Learning Health System Sciences are excited to announce a call for the Herz Faculty Development Fellowship, a career development program that supports Medical School faculty who are interested in researching and innovating medical education.

This year’s program will focus on projects aimed at designing, implementing, and evaluating artificial intelligence (AI) systems in medical education. For example, projects that involve using AI in new ways for instruction or educational materials on AI in medicine would be considered.

Up to 3–4 fellows will be selected and provided with mentorship, project support, dissemination support, and a research community. This opportunity is open to UMN Medical School faculty, affiliate faculty, staff, and faculty dyads.
