The Department of Dermatology is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Eamonn Maher as an Assistant Professor in Medical Dermatology. Dr. Maher joins us after completing an Advanced Medical Dermatology Fellowship at New York University and his Dermatology Residency at Saint Louis University after obtaining his M.D from Marshall University in his home state of West Virginia. Dr. Maher will be dividing his time between the Clinical and Surgery Center and the MHealth Dermatology Oxboro clinic.

 

Dr. Maher is particularly interested in conditions such as cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, cutaneous vasculitis and cutaneous T cell lymphoma. He is also an educator notable for his public-facing podcast appearances and his commitment to fostering a new generation of doctors through the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Editorial Mentorship Program. Eamonn is also participating in clinical trials of connective tissue diseases with fellow faculty member Dr. David Pearson.
