Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Faculty and Residents

The Department of Emergency Medicine is offering certification training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to all residents, fellows and faculty* (ACLS: BLS included. PALS: BLS is an optional add-on depending on your department's requirements).

Both courses consist of two parts:

  • Part 1 - is an online tutorial that we send you once you register for a class. Allow about 6 hours to complete the online portion, as you will not be allowed to attend class without the certificate of completion.
  • Part 2 - once you have successfully completed the online portion, bring the online completion certificate to a 2-hour resuscitation scenarios session with you performing the role of the Team Leader.

Course fee is $225.00* and can be invoiced directly to your department or to you if your department does not cover the cost. (BLS is an additional $29 for skills testing and card).

*Price will increase to $275.00 starting July 1, 2024.

Dates will be added with an effort to offer at least one course a month.
