February 4 - April 22

Work with a professional editor to improve your writing skills and finalize your manuscript for publication.

This 10-week, in-person workshop is designed for students who have completed research, developed their figures, and are writing their manuscript.

During the workshop, students will learn what makes a high-quality manuscript, how to refine their figures and integrate them into their manuscript, and how to organize their manuscript to tell the story of their research. They’ll also receive ongoing feedback from their cohort and the workshop leaders.

Previous participants said:

Students are eligible if:

  • they have nearly completed a research project and have their figures ready or close to being ready.
  • they can commit to the majority of the selected dates.
  • their PI agrees to contribute $750 to the cost of the workshop.
