Dr. Kevin Wickman awarded new R01 grant

Kevin Wickman, Distinguished McKnight University Professor and Vice Head in Pharmacology, has been awarded a new R01 grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, one of the 27 institutes and centers that comprise the National Institutes of Health. The project title of the grant is "Alcohol-related suppression of GIRK channel activity in the basal amygdala: a link to plasticity of glutamatergic neurotransmission and withdrawal-associated behavior?"
