Pediatric Uveitis Program
Co-Management of Inflammatory Eye Disease
Uveitis, a type of inflammation in the eye, is a group of disorders that can cause permanent vision loss without treatment. For the most successful outcome, children with uveitis need a coordinated approach with an ophthalmologist and rheumatologist for evaluation of underlying causes and treatment of inflammation.
The Pediatric Uveitis Program at Minnesota Lions Children’s Eye Clinic combines the expertise of ophthalmology specialists in uveitis, pediatric ophthalmologists, and pediatric rheumatology specialists to provide same-day management of pediatric uveitis.
To schedule an appointment or referral in the Pediatric Uveitis Program, please call 612‑365‑8350 or fax 612-365-8351.
