Two M Health Fairview ambulatory surgery centers have once again been recognized by Newsweek as being among the best in the state of Minnesota.

The M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Maple Grove took the top spot on the annual list while the M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Minneapolis ranked second best in the state.

“This recognition reflects the expertise around surgical excellence and patient-centered focus of the surgeons, nurses, advanced practice providers and many others who provide care or contribute to the patient experience at our surgery centers,” said Abe Jacob, MD, MHA, chief quality officer for M Health Fairview and an associate professor with University of Minnesota Medical School. “Their commitment to excellence and compassion for every patient coming through our doors is the reason our facilities have been honored three years running.”

Newsweek's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers list highlights the nation's top ambulatory surgery centers based on the quality of care, performance data and peer surveys sent to medical professionals working in ambulatory surgery centers across the nation.

This achievement was made possible by the outstanding medical professionals and staff at the two ambulatory surgery centers who work tirelessly to care for our communities.
