Dr. Anderson is a Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist with special interest in service patients who are high for skin cancers. She completed her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh within the NIH-funded Medical Scientist Training Program, obtaining her MD and PhD in Clinical and Translational Sciences. She moved to Chicago for her Dermatology residency at Northwestern University where she served as the Academic Chief resident. Dr. Anderson remained at Northwestern for her Dermatopathology fellowship. She has a special interest in clinical pathologic correlation and assisting her dermatology colleagues to arrive at the best diagnosis and treatment for their patients.
Dr. Anderson's research interests include costs of care, cost-effectiveness modeling, and using large clinical datasets to characterize and aim to improve patient care. She is also interested in gender representation within academic medicine.
