Genevieve Melton-Meaux and Christopher Tignanelli with New Leadership Roles

Genevieve Melton-Meaux, MD, PhD, FACS, FAMIA, and Christopher Tignanelli, MD, MS, FACS, FAMIA, recently stepped into new roles within the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Dr. Melton-Meaux is now Senior Associate Dean for Health Informatics and Data Science. She will direct the Medical School’s strategies in health informatics, data science, and digital health and will serve as the interface with the Institute for Health Informatics, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and University-wide data science initiatives.

Dr. Tignanelli was named Associate Dean for Data Science. Through his new role, he will lead the Medical School’s data operations and development of informatics infrastructure.

Both Dr. Melton-Meaux and Dr. Tignanelli will continue to serve in their roles within CLHSS. Dr. Melton-Meaux is the Center’s Director and Dr. Tignanelli co-directs our Program for Clinical Artificial Intelligence.
