Rubina Rizvi joins AMIA Governance Committee

The purpose of the AMIA Governance Committee is to inform and lead the evolution of AMIA’s governance and organizational structure, with an emphasis on achieving greater simplicity, transparency, and member engagement. As one of the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) liaisons (two are selected) to the AMIA Governance Committee, Dr. Rizvi will be formulating recommendations around operationalizing DEI within AMIA (i.e., having DEI liaisons on committees, task forces, etc.). The committee is responsible for recommending the appropriate AMIA Bylaws changes and reports directly to the AMIA Board of Directors.
