Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic
The Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic is a MDA designated MDA Care Center that is dedicated to providing comprehensive, coordinated care for infants, children, and adolescents with muscular dystrophy, including:
- Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT)
- Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP)
- Congenital muscular dystrophy (CMD)
- Congenital myasthenic syndrome
- Congenital myopathy
- Duchenne/Becker muscular dystrophy (DMD and BMD)
- Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (EDMD)
- Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD)
- Guillain-Barré syndrome
- Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy (LGMD)
- Myasthenia gravis
- Myotonic dystrophy
- Periodic paralysis
- Pompe disease
- Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)
- Delayed motor development
- Gait difficulties
- Hypotonia in infancy
