Dr. Herodotos Ellinas Appointed Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology

ellinasWe are excited to announce Dr. Herodotos Ellinas as the Department of Anesthesiology's new Academic Division Chief and Medical Director of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Dr. Ellinas will take the reins from Dr. Mojca Remskar in overseeing pediatric anesthesiology in all academic and clinical areas.

Dr. Ellinas joins the department from the Medical College of Wisconsin where he serves as a professor and Director of the Preoperative Anesthesia Evaluation Center. He has been with MCW since 2009. Dr. Ellinas is a highly respected and experienced pediatric anesthesiologist and educator. He has an international and national reputation for excellence in education and holds senior leadership positions in the ABA, SEA, and SAAAPM.

He will assume the role in January 2023.

The department sincerely thanks Dr. Remskar for her tremendous work in this role while serving in the interim.
