Dr. Jussi K. Sillanpaa is a medical physicist and Associate Professor with a distinguished background in radiation oncology and medical physics. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Helsinki and did his medical physics residency at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Sillanpaa has held academic and clinical roles at institutions including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Northwestern Medicine. His research spans radiation dosimetry, imaging, and quality assurance, with over two decades of peer-reviewed publications. He is actively involved in professional organizations such as AAPM and ASTRO, currently serving on multiple national committees and task groups.
