Service Levels

Partnering with the University of Minnesota Office of Continuing Professional Development (UMN OCPD) on your education is a strategic decision.

  • We bring guaranteed compliance and a simplified accreditation process. As an accredited provider, we have developed a compliant, streamlined process for accredited CE for physicians (AMA), nurses (ANCC), pharmacists (ACPE), physician assistants (AAPA) and other healthcare professionals including psychologists, social workers, and athletic trainers.
  • Our expertise guarantees adherence to ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence and the addition of CE credits to your course elevates and gives credibility to your content.
  • UMN OCPD name is a trusted leader in CE. A partnership with us brings name recognition and signals excellence to your learners.
  • OCPD's website, where your course can have a presence, is a trusted resource within the UMN community and beyond for locating CE opportunities.

OCPD is not funded by the Medical School or the University of Minnesota. We will provide you with a quote for our services after you submit a request for course accreditation.

We offer RSS activity certification. An activity is a regularly scheduled series (RSS) when it is planned as a series with multiple sessions that:

  1. Occur on an ongoing basis (offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly) and
  2. Are primarily planned by and presented to the accredited organization’s professional staff. Examples of activities that are planned and presented as a Regularly Scheduled Series  are Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards, and M&M Conferences.

The administration of RSS activities is handled through the CE Portal. OCPD will provide training and resources to the designated departmental RSS Coordinator.

OCPD is required to review and set rates for services annually. We will use the information that you provide on your request for course accreditation to create a quote for services for your course. Before entering into a partnership with your organization, a member of our team will review the quote with you to answer and questions and ensure that it accurately reflects the scope of your course.
