Service Levels

CME/CE does cost money and the Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD) is not funded by the Medical School or the University of Minnesota. As a result, OCPD must charge for our services. Please review the Service Levels sections below.

Once a Request for Activity Certification is submitted and approved, a quote that reflects the specifics of your activity will be provided to you. In the meantime, please review the Service Fees section below for general pricing information.

  1. Occur on an ongoing basis (offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly) and
  2. Are primarily planned by and presented to the accredited organization’s professional staff. Examples of activities that are planned and presented as a Regularly Scheduled Series  are Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards, and M&M Conferences.

The administration of RSS activities is handled through the CE Portal. OCPD will provide training and resources to the designated departmental RSS Coordinator.
