Faculty Development

New Faculty Orientation

The Medical School's New Faculty Orientation is offered to new faculty members twice each year; fall and spring. The program provides an opportunity to hear from program leaders across the Medical School about resources, faculty development activities, research and mentoring opportunities, and the promotion and tenure process. Interested faculty may register to attend one of the upcoming sessions by completing this form.

New faculty may want to consider attending the University's New Faculty Program, a year-long program with multiple offerings featuring professional development and engagement efforts from across the University.

Faculty Mentoring

The Medical School has a variety of mentoring resources available through the Office of Faculty Affairs. Faculty are encouraged to contact OFA staff for additional assistance finding resources to help them succeed at the University.

Teaching Opportunities

There are a variety of teaching opportunities available to our faculty members to work directly with medical students: Procedure Labs, High-fidelity Simulations, Point-of-Care Ultrasound. If you are interested in teaching our medical students, please reach out to [email protected].
