2020 Manufacturing Needs for Biofabrication of Engineered Tissues and Organs
Bioprinters - Bioreactors - Sensors

Monday, April 6, 8:30am-5:00pm
TCF Bank Stadium (DQ Club Room & Surrounding Spaces)
420 SE 23rd Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55455

Breakthroughs in cell technologies, materials science, and biofabrication methods, particularly 3D bioprinting, have laid a foundation for large-scale manufacturing of tissues and tissue-related products.  Learn what industry and academic experts think will be needed to bring biofabrication from its current prototype stage to reproducible, manufactured tissue products. Short talks, discussions, a poster session, and brainstorming sessions will include topics covering bioprinters, biofabricators, bioreactors, and sensors for real-time, monitoring. Afternoon sessions offer choices in industry-related talks and discussions. Sponsored by the UMN Stem Cell Institute and College of Science & Engineering.
