Leaning toward Cytopathology; open to academic or private
What attracted you to the U of M for residency?
The people! Growing up in the Midwest was a treat and after leaving for medical school I really missed the people. The faculty and ancillary staff are amazing and the amazing training alongside of them make for a great environment and opportunity!
If you weren’t a physician, what would you do?
I would own a tree farm
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would split time between Ireland and my tree farm
What are your hobbies, or favorite things to do outside of work?
I love to read, spend time outdoors (hiking, gardening), I just bought a townhome so I enjoy doing house projects and woodworking
What do you like the most about Minnesota?
The people and the weather, I love a good rainy autumn morning and although the cold can get tiring quickly, I do enjoy getting to experience it all. The cities are such a unique blend of diversity. Amazing cuisine, shopping, art but also a quick drive and you're in the middle of nowhere which I also love!
