What are your medical/professional interests?
I’m interested in learning broadly and developing my skills as a well-rounded pathologist.
What attracted you to the U of M for residency?
I was drawn to the U of M because of the strong sense of collegiality and excellence in teaching. It also allows me to stay close to my family, which was very important to me.
If you weren’t a physician, what would you do?
I would be a pilot. Seems like it would be fun to fly!
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d spend a week at a resort somewhere tropical—somewhere warm and relaxing where I could unplug and enjoy the beach.
What are your hobbies, or favorite things to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my cat. I also like gaming, watching sports, and playing basketball.
What do you like the most about Minnesota?
My favorite thing about Minnesota is the fall. I love the changing colors and the natural beauty of our state during that time of year.
