Earlier this May, Dr. Miguel Fiol was featured on Kare 11 to provide information on the topic of migrant families crossing this border. Dr. Fiol, Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Neurology, coordinates a community group that works directly with migrant families, particularly those from Latin America. In this interview, he shares insights from his experience working with this group and what he's learned about migrants crossing the US-Canada border.
